Life's gotten even sweeeter in Sonoma Valley, with the opening of La Michoacana.  Paletas made with chopped fresh fruit can be found along with bionicos made with sweet cream, nectarine, kiwi, mango, strawberries then topped with grapes, granola, raisins, coconut shavings and more.  The sweet shop also offers ice creams in flavors like pine nut, walnut, and psitachio, and custom-blended milkshakes, as well as chocolate-covered bananas and strawberries on sticks.  Owner Teresita Carr concentrates on creating small batches of fresh products from scratch, and tailoring items to customer preferences.

The store is located in the Springs at 18495 Highway 12, at the intersection with Thomson Avenue.
