A project to redevelop the City's old fire station property into a retail and restaurant location is moving forward.  According to the Sonoma Community Development Agency, environmental clean-up work on the site is nearing finalization, and an agreement to sell the property to a commercial developer is in process.  "Station 1 Sonoma", located one block south of the Plaza on Broadway, will have several retail or restaurant spaces, starting at 1,025 square feet, and is being designed as a green building.  Estimated opening date is summer 2011.  For more info, visit the Available Commercial Properties page.
